自 2003 年起日本威士忌便開始頻頻獲獎。余市、竹鶴、山崎、白州、響 等全是得獎之作。山崎一款在 2013 年出產的日本威士忌被國際評論家 Jim Murray 推薦，評為世界第一，全球限量 18,000 支瞬間斷貨。此外威士忌天書「Whisky Bible」二零一五年版爆出驚人的賽果，反而蘇格蘭五強不入，而冠軍由日本威士忌威風奪得。今次Drink by the Dram就以5款日本威士忌為引入，為大家引路走入日本威士尼之門。
